Players are used to embed videos or playlists. Any video can be embedded with any player, allowing for maximum flexibility. Players can display the list of videos of you embed a playlist.

You can change the skin (design), layout and behaviour of players to make them perfectly fit your website. By default, the players have social sharing and advertising capabilities. Extend your players with plugins (either from our library or self-coded) to add even more functionalities.

Broadsword|Video offers two types of playlists. Manual playlists are built by hand, using drag and drop. Dynamic playlists are built by setting a few rules. For example, you could set that a playlist contains the latest 5 videos with the tag "interview".

Playlists can also be published with an embed code. Additionally, playlists can be published as RSS feeds. RSS can be used for systems such as iTunes, Boxee and Google Video Sitemaps.

The management dashboard is the heart of Broadsword|Video. It offers an intuitive interface for uploading, transcoding and publishing videos. The dashboard also has features to group videos in playlists, create video players, track statistics and manage your account.

Upload new videos in any source format. Videos can be searched, sorted and filtered using tags.

Upload custom thumbnails or select a poster frame directly from the video. Publish videos by copy-pasting an embed code. The Transcoding tab gives you low-level access to the individual transcoded files of a video.

Real-time Analytics

Track views, pageviews, hours viewed and per-second engagement for each video.

3G to HD Streaming

Smoothly stream around the globe with our bitrate switching players with HTML5 (iPad) support. Video is delivered streaming, which allows for quick starts and instant seeking to not-yet-downloaded parts.
