Our latest feature makes it easy for your audience members to share your emails with their friends and followers on social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It’ll exponentially increase the reach of your emails.

Here’s how it works:

+ You click an Add Social Sharing Options button as you’re creating your campaign and select which social network icons you want to appear on your emails.

+ After they receive your email, your recipients click an icon (or more than one, if that’s how they roll) and share a link to your email with their friends and followers.

+ Then you hop over to your Response page to see which audience members are sharing your email, and which networks are generating the most traffic to your campaign.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/6/22/eznews-update-interactive-charts-let-the-data-loving-begin.html"><rss:title>eznews update - Interactive Charts: Let the data-loving begin</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/6/22/eznews-update-interactive-charts-let-the-data-loving-begin.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Email marketing eznews eznews</dc:subject>

Now in the response section of Broadsword's eznews accounts, you’ll find Interactive Charts, displaying all of the useful email results in a handy, visual way. You’ll know at a glance how your campaigns perform over time. You’ll see individual results unfold over hourly increments. And best of all, these new charts make it easy to spot trends and patterns in your email strategy.

Which trends might you identify, you ask? Well, seeing your data packaged so handsomely might lead you to several conclusions. Consider these scenarios:

1) Your clicks and opens drop in months with a higher sending volume.
Maybe you’re sending too frequently.

This pattern is an example of the inverse relationship. As the number of campaigns goes up, your audience engagement goes down.

What to do? Consider sending fewer emails. You can consolidate messages or modify content so that your various audience groups only get the most relevant and tailored messages.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/5/30/leverick-bay-poker-2010.html"><rss:title>Leverick Bay Poker 2010</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/5/30/leverick-bay-poker-2010.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Clients Photography sol group</dc:subject>

sol-sponsored Leverick Bay Poker Run, May 30, 2010

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/5/14/40-years-of-bvi-athletics.html"><rss:title>40 Years Of BVI Athletics</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/5/14/40-years-of-bvi-athletics.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Branding Clients Events</dc:subject>

Honorees were recognized at an event held at Government House recently to kick off the BVI Athletics Association's (BVIAA) 40th Anniversary celebrations. 40 years of athletics by the BVIAA; continuing support by sol; branding by Broadsword; photo by Todd VanSickle.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/2/26/why-blog.html"><rss:title>Why Blog?</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2010/2/26/why-blog.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>Web</dc:subject>

A blog is a simple, cost-effective way to create a professional online presence.

Bounce rate essentially represents the percentage of initial visitors to a site who "bounce" away to a different site, rather than continue on to other pages within the same site.

The formula used to calculate bounce rate is: Bounce Rate = Total Number of Visits Viewing One Page / Total Number of Visits.

A bounce occurs when a web site visitor only views a single page on a website, that is, the visitor leaves a site without visiting any other pages before a specified session-timeout occurs.

If the bounce rate on your home page exceeds 50%, then you probably need to find out why. Are you attracting the right visitors? If half the people who come to your home page leave right away, are there major flaws in your search strategy or advertising or is your home or landing page not doing its job?

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2009/10/31/bsafe-goes-ez-up-with-broadsword.html"><rss:title>BSAFE Goes EZ-UP With Broadsword</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.broadswordcommunications.com/news/2009/10/31/bsafe-goes-ez-up-with-broadsword.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject>BSAFE Branding Clients EZ-UP branding</dc:subject>

The BSAFE programme has just taken delivery of a branding package from Broadsword which includes a tent, railskirts, teardrop banners and flags.
