Broadsword assists FirstCaribbean International with its local PR activities and oversees its Sponsorship and Community Relations program.

Broadsword assisted FirstCaribbean in becoming a Gold sponsor of the BVI Spring Regatta. Broadsword developed corporate signage which included a FirstCaribbean-branded event tent, ensured that corporate standards were complied with and that the BVI Spring Regatta used the logo correctly in all its publicity materials. Broadsword also developed an "added value" programme for its sponsorship which has included corporate hospitality for key customers, event t-shirts, support advertising including exclusive sponsorship of local radio coverage and promotional activity in the "regatta village" which included a nightly slideshow of the day's racing action to draw a crowd to the FirstCaribbean booth.

Broadsword identified and project-managed the sponsorship of the IC24 "FirstCaribbean KATS" including branding of the boat and the launch PR. This unique sponsorship greatly assists the KATS programme but also generates a lot of brand awareness for FirstCaribbean as this highly visible boat attends numerous regattas throughout the year, photos of which are often published in the media.
