Broadsword Communications Ltd is a public relations, marketing and advertising company based in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. It is a boutique business with a select client base ensuring prompt and dedicated attention to all projects. The principals of Broadsword have a combined 20+ years of PR and marketing experience (including “real-world”, big City experience). Over a decade of living and working in the Caribbean has provided us with invaluable experience of getting things done locally.
Broadsword Communications is known to and is trusted by the BVI media. We have experience with international media relations and as individuals we have fostered contacts within the US, UK and European charter and travel industry.
Both principals of Broadsword have direct tourism experience in the BVI ranging from a world-class hotel to marketing manager for one of the fastest growing, privately owned charter companies in the Caribbean.
Broadsword was responsible for setting up the current, successful media relations structure for the BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival and Antigua Sailing Week (two of the top three Caribbean regattas) which included the implementation of daily reporting and photography with web site updates and international media distribution.

Sofia Fay
Sofia Fay has lived in the Caribbean for over ten years. Her marketing experience spans fourteen years when she started as a marketing executive for a production and postproduction facility and an ostomist home-delivery service company in England.
In the Caribbean, Sofia was employed to assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing campaigns during phase one of the first time-share resort to be developed in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. Based in the BVI, Sofia then held the position of corporate marketing manager for Horizon Yacht Charters, a medium size yacht charter company with additional bases in St Martin, Antigua and Grenada. The success of the marketing initiatives undertaken during her four-year tenure could be measured in the increase in brand desirability and steady growth of corporate charter sales.
